Arda Turan is a Turkish professional football player. He was born on January 30, 1987, in Istanbul, Turkey. Turan started his professional football career at the age of 16 with Galatasaray, one of the most successful football clubs in Turkey. He played for Galatasaray for six seasons and won several titles with the team, including the Turkish Super League and the Turkish Cup.
In 2011, Turan moved to Atletico Madrid, a Spanish football club, where he played for four seasons. He won the La Liga title and reached the UEFA Champions League final with Atletico Madrid.
